Thank you for the Einstein quote. I am a recent UCLA graduate. I hope people realize how important quick action is. Public authority figures get much more trust than they deserve. A friend of mine was almost put in jail for a long time for kicking a cop in the face during a protest. She was saved at the last minute because someone came forward with a video showing that the officer was roughing up a friend of hers. People need to take action if they see something wrong — especially when it is right in front of them.
You let the police treat your people like that?
Listen to that girl begging the police not to do that to him because it is illegal and look at everyone else doing nothing. That is all that evil needs to prevail – is for good people to do nothing.
America don’t become Nazi Germany.

Hi. Jake. Your sentiments echo mine and Einstein’s but we shouldn’t be over-judgemental.
As Matt’s comment makes clear, taking immediate frontline action these days is dangerous. Which doesn’t mean, of course that it shouldn’t be taken; simply that it’s wise to have documentary back-up.
i am jsut surprised no one stepped up n stopped those thugs. just a fuc**** shame to see so many people standing around doing nothing. y don’t they think that it could be them next. They should throw those pigs in a cell n make sure they dont’ get out nytime soon. this is fuckign ridiculous. n the chancellor is saying that not to be judgemental. I wonder what his thoughts would have been if his own son was in that kid’s place????? Ya I would sure would love to personally interview on that one. We seriously as a nation need to wake up. If this incident is not enough then I don’t know what is. pretty damn clear violations of human and civil rights. That kid’s shouting n yelling made me feel utterly disguted. I can’t believe how people just can stand there n not do nything about those rent a cops.
if the masses knew and /or cared it might be a little different. lol
Chilling! From the video it seems that the police had no idea how to resolve the situation without resort to verbal and physical violence. When their approach did not work their response was merely to escalate and try more of the same. When people of such limited ability are armed and put in positions of power and authority, society is in serious trouble.
Also, jerrym, they obviously hadn’t been trained in tazer use. When a shock is applied the victim’s lower body is paralysed for upwards of 3 minutes. So to taze someone in order to make them get up is simply not a good idea.
Ok, After reading all these posts I have come to a conclusion. Some little rich university punk threw a fit. In return, a couple rent-a-cops with a new toy decided to take it for a test run. I think the kid was a spoiled rotten brat and deserved more so, to be held down, slapped and given repetitive amounts of wet-willies and noogies. The tazer was excessive. If they were smart rent-a-cops they would have made a big fool out of that kid. Imagine an atomic wedgie and wet willies in front of your whole class. “Stop whining you little brat, look all your friends are pointing and laughing, GET UP”
😀
P.S: Raise your hand if you are sick and tired of rich, university students feeling as if they deserve special treatment when they blatantly act foolish.
It doesn’t matter that a UCLA student is tasered illegally because it doesn’t matter that we have hard evidence that Collin Powell et al knowingly lied to the UN Security Council and the world about the existance of WMD to justify an illegal armed robbery of Iraq resulting in the death of one million children, women, and innocent men.

The hypocracy!
You know the list of lies and atrocities is endless and the exploitation of trust – they are exploiting our virtues as though they were weaknesses.
They have dumbed down America and the west deliberatey so that the core electorate can be maintained to uphold their power ‘democractically’.
http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/
The bread and circus will not end soon. As long as the imperialist elite cabal can rape and rob the weaker nations they can afford to placate the core electorate of designer sheeple.
Thus I conclude that the time for democratic and peaceful revolt has passed. 2006 was really our last chance and that chance was 9/11 Truth. This truth was/is the only anecdote to the War on Terror mythology.
Now the only remedy is to fight fire with fire. We can’t even trust the peaceful protest leaders with every significant institution infiltrated by the zionist cabal. Just look at Democracy Now and Amy Goodman’s perpetual ignorance of the mountains of footage and hundreds of hours of testimonial evidence that leaves no doubt the official story of 9/11 is a total sham and cover-up. It was an inside job and anyone denying that MUST BE either sub-human and void of humanitarian rights else a member of the zionist cabal.
Now the war has truly begun and we will see political assassinations in the west. Now the west will truly know terror with firebugs, Americium smoke detector radiation poisening, the death of millions of ignorant pig sheeple.
We will not stand by and watch the electorate passively and actively support the mass murder of innocent nations such as Iraq. There will be repurcussions for the ignorant sheeple of the west.
Its already done. Democracy is not a fad. While there is war there can be no democracy.
Iran, who’s only war in three hundred years was against the Rumsfeld backed Suddam Hussein.
The day that America declares war on Iran is the day I take up arms and start executing Americans.
At any time this guys could have just stood up, or even said that he did not have the ability to stand, and the tazing would have stopped. Quite frankly if a cop stops you and you acted like an a$$ hole, I don’t have a problem with them tazing you. Does this guy not have any responsibility for his own actions? Quit your wining about police brutality, and start using your manner. Let’s say the police never checked ids and some rapist was running around campus people would start wining about the cops doing nothing. Let me see if I can give you the rules, just so you know;
1. Don’t run from the cops. If you happen to be a moron, let me clue you in on a fact, you rarely get away. If you happen to get stopped after you run, do you really think the cops are going to walk up to your car and ask you to get out? I think they are going to pull you out of the car like you are a criminal,,, because YOU ARE!
2. Have an attitude with the cops, and expect a ticket.
3. If you get caught speeding, running stop signs, weaving, or anything else, expect a ticket. I don’t care who you know or how rich you are or what color you are, you did the crime,, pay up.
4. Pull a weapon, get shot, acted like you have a weapon, get shot.
If you don’t understand, let me make this very clear, we as a people must follow the rules. If you don’t like the rules put other people in office that will change the rules. Don’t expect the cops not to enforce the rules in place. As far as this guy, let me see;
1. Show id – NO TAZING
2. Stand up – TAZING STOPS.
Do you people really not see this?
I just saw this video last night. It does not show anything PRIOR to the tazing. Does anyone know specific about the whole ordeal or are people just going to stand up and ASSUME the kid did nothing wrong, didnt present himself to be a possible threat, etc. Dont be judgemental before knowing all the facts. Frankly, I believe that if you get tazed or cops take any action that requires use of force or anything along those lines that you must have done something wrong. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and we all dont always agree with other people’s opinions. Bottomline: the kid had to have deserved it to some degree. Will I say that the cops were right? No. Perhaps there was an excessive use of force. But for you people to go and start calling them pigs and saying that they should be in jail or tazed or what-not, you are just ignorant. These people essentially protect us from worse people. The rapers, muggers, killers, etc. They are our guardians of our well being. To judge ALL based on the actions of some – whether they are smart actions or not – is rather ignorant on your part and close-minded. To blow this up and go off on a “War on Terror” and “invade Iran” tangent is hilarious. What does this have to do with some kid getting tazed? Nothing. Go rant somewhere else.
Have a Merry Christmas folks.

Need I say more about how America has been infiltrated by fascism and slave-mentality sheeple?
Did you SEE the video or do you have braindamage? The guy got tasered for refusing to stand up. He was already CUFFED. Tasers are used to disarm resistance so that the target can be CUFFED.
Thats it!!! There is nothing more to TASERS.
You advocate the use of tasers in that video because of a blind ignorant assumptio n that men in uniforms do no wrong or have the right to do whatever it is they do. Really I can’t understand why you bother leaving a comment here. Its as though you have no critical analytic skills whatsover. O.k., I’m reminded of two things you should peruse: Go see Alex Jones “Police State” documentaries as well as his TerrorStorm film on http://www.video.google.com Also go see this website and ebook about the deliberate dumbing down of america. http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/
And with regards to your merry christmas wishes, save them for the 1 million innocent Iraqi murdered by your ignorance.
If you are ready for reality check this link by law enforcement about this tazer case and others. It seems to make their day to tazer people, even though it is dangerous and when abused as in the UCLA video, it can be lethal. Someone needs to pass it on to Amnesty International, or any help groups to get these thugs out of the police department. They should also go after the thugs in the following website where they brag about their abuse. http://forums.officer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46964&page=4
You are naive to think that you have do something wrong to be bothered by the police, the facts are the police are nothing more then an out of control gang that feels because the public will nine times out of ten believe them, that makes them feel they can get away with anything, the average cop is of low intelligence and even lower self esteem, which is why most like to abuse their power and bully others, it makes them feel like they are somebody, now while most cops are generally good people, of late there has been a growing trend of cops who feel invincible, and one thing i have learned in all my years is the one thing a cop fears most is not the man with a gun in his hand, but its the man with the camera, cause film does not lie, unlike the average cop, and this film clearly shows abuse and brutality, thats the bottom line, you cant expect a kid to stand up so easily after taking 50,000 volts repeatedly, its absurd
Well, the cops shouldn’t have used the tazer as much as they did but, you can be tazed after your cuffed if you continue to act like dead weight or continue to resist. It’s not just to put you into cuffs. That kid is also over reacting to the the tazer. It’s unconfortable and painful, but that guys acting like his arms being cut off. And yes you can stand up after repeatedly being tazered. Almost all the pain goes away after the shock stops. I’ve been tazered. That guy would really have had something to scream about if he’d been pepper sprayed, it’s far more painful. It’s hard to see all the details from the video, but it looks obvious that the officers actions were inapropriate in the given situation and they should be held accountable because they are held to higher standards. But, the stubborn kid got what he had coming for being a jerk.
That guy had plenty of opportunities to produce ID or just leave before the police were even called. He deserved it for not following the school’s rules.
Hey…it is a GREAT IDEA to taser to death ASHLY then yourself…You are either sad moronic sheeple or government plants. Don’t get me wrong Jake is a Nazi provociture but hey for once i agree with Jake. Worldwide second ammendment NOW
LovetoTaser, you might really learn something to go and read an article called “Lessons of the Mengele Affair” by
Mark Weber.
Using slurs like “Nazi provocateur” is just hte background radiation of a lifetime of being brainwashed by the Allied Force’s Zionist controlled post-war teevee.
The taser makes you act intense, it causes you to have a contorted fit and you can scream in terror, probably defecate yourself, it is the first time in your life you have had anything like that happen before, like being raped electronically, every tissue and muscle and nerve in your body raped; and the subject is going to be placated now?
