Galloway,
I swear, I dreamt about you yesterday. You were like this really old guy (bearded white haired man abt 70 yrs old) and I was thinking to myself… wow he still blogs…
“You’ve got to have a dream/if you don’t have a dream/how you gonna make a dream come true?”
Flattered I’ve wormed my way into your subconscious, my friend.
“About” adendum: 55 years old, mediterranean appearance (swarthy) full head of (slightly greying) black hair, clean shaven (most of the time), no visible scars or tattoos, father to 6 year old and 23 year old daughters (and a son in his thirties whom I haven’t seen in some years)…
look i have a project in the university about the medical help that have been shipped from Cyprus to Lebanon, but they were stucked for a period of time in Cyprus due to a Transport and Logistics point of vue.
If you have anything or everything valuable and can help with the project, please do send it to my mail
It’s really good to make your acquaintance. I’m 57 and proud to have been a part of the “Love Generation” which still lives with me in my heart. Murray Roman was a “light” for me back then. I would dearly love to hear his material again too. Did you manage to get hold of any material by and if so, would it be possible to hear it?
Hi, Aidan.
Thanks for the comment. Appreciate your interest in Murray.
I am talking to people and trying to create enough buzz to get a CD compilation released.
Also, I hope to be able to put together a biog soon.
Perhaps before that I’ll be able to stream some audio, legalities permitting (can’t believe I said that!).
Just came across your blog. What an interesting person you are. I am totally blown away by the contents. Infact I am going to copy it to my favourites.
"If death is the unequivocal and permanent end of our existence, the question arises whether it is a bad thing to die." (Thomas Nagel)
Free Press
"In the First Amendment, the Founding Fathers gave the free press the protection it must have to fulfill its essential role in our democracy. The press was to serve the governed, not the governors. The Government's power to censor the press was abolished so that the press would remain forever free to censure the Government. The press was protected so that it could bare the secrets of government and inform the people. Only a free and unrestrained press can effectively expose deception in government. And paramount among the responsibilities of a free press is the duty to prevent any part of the government from deceiving the people and sending them off to distant lands to die of foreign fevers and foreign shot and shell." Justice Black.
Support our Troops?
"The point of public relations slogans like "Support our troops" is that they don't mean anything... That's the whole point of good propaganda. You want to create a slogan that nobody's going to be against, and everybody's going to be for. Nobody knows what it means, because it doesn't mean anything. Its crucial value is that it diverts your attention from a question that does mean something: Do you support our policy? That's the one you're not allowed to talk about." (Noam Chomsky)
Schizophrenia
"Schizophrenia used to be a new name for dementia praecox - a slow, insidious illness that was supposed to overtake young people in particular, and to be liable to go on to a terminal dementia.
Perhaps we can still retain the now old name, and read into it its etymological meaning: Schiz - 'broken'; Phrenos - 'soul or heart'.
The schizophrenic in this sense is one who is broken-hearted, and even broken hearts have been known to mend, if we have the heart to let them." (R.D. Laing)

The template is Pressrow by Chris Pearson and is header customizable.
Just went into presentation, customize header, browse, uploaded the image — a Lenny Bruce album sleeve — from my pictures and cropped it to fit.

Hi there
I was hopeful that you might be able to offer more info or a link to any Murray Roman downloads – how I regret the day I sold them years ago (sobs)
Any help would be appreciated.
Hugs etc xx
